NATHAN, PRESIDENT

SHANNON DRISKELL, BOARD MEMBER

Shannon taught Mathematics for 29 years and is currently working part-time in Accounts Payable at BPM Lumber/ Sturley Investments, substitute teaching and tutoring.  Shannon grew up enjoying theatre and dance in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.  She first came to Ragged Edge in 2015 when her son, Dylan came to audition for Hairspray, Jr. and has been volunteering with the theatre every since.  Shannon’s husband is also a Harrodsburg native.



MICHAEL COLEMAN, BOARD MEMBER


Michael has been involved with the Ragged Edge for many years.  He started out doing sound and lights for productions, but then was talked into appearing in The Secret Garden.  He caught the acting bug and has since been in many shows at Ragged Edge, as well as James Harrod: The Battle for Kentucky.  He continues to help with lighting, sound, maintenance, and occasional acting as time permits.  


CECIL HENRY WEBB IV, BOARD MEMBER

Henry has been involved with Ragged Edge Community Theatre since 2010, starting with the production of Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Clause. Henry has also been in the productions of Beauty and the Beast, Bus Stop, many years of James Harrod: The Battle for Kentucky, and most recently High Strangeness. He is an employee of Hayslett Mechanical Contractors, a sponsor of the theatre, and holds a journeyman’s license in both plumbing and HVAC. Henry continues a family appreciation for theatre that was started by his great-grandfather, Gil Hayslett, who was one of the first to donate to the production of The Legend of Daniel Boone. Henry has also made a habit of community service through various avenues over the years, including BoyScouts, 4H, youth groups, and being a regular judge for the voting polls. Henry has helped in many projects through Hayslett’s in the theatre as well as other maintenance within the building.


LAURA PEYTON, SECRETARY


Laura is a native of Harrodsburg and has been involved with the Ragged Edge Community Theater for the last five years. She has worked for the City of Harrodsburg serving the residents of Mercer County for 20 years first as a 911 Dispatcher then, currently, as a records clerk. Laura is a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and is a volunteer in the children’s preschool program.  Though always a theater lover, Laura’s daughter Sara led her to her involvement working backstage and volunteering to fill other needs during the children’s productions of Aladdin, Charlotte’s Web, Shrek, and Frozen as well as the summer production Brigadoon.


TIM WHITE, VISE PRESIDENT, WEB MASTER

Tim has the distinction of being one of the original board members when RECT was founded by Mary Chelf Jones.  He spent many years working as the theater’s technical director, designing/building sets and designing lighting.  After a few years’ hiatus, Tim rejoined the board in 2015 and also enjoys performing in RECT’s productions as well as Studio-G.  By day, Tim owns and operates White Line Screen Printing and BioRhythm Wellness Hub on Main Street in Harrodsburg.  Tim organizes a Tolkien event held at Shaker Village every three years.  He is a busy man!


PAUL E. SLANINKA, JR., TREASURER


Paul hails from New York’s Hudson Valley via Miami and has more than 45 years of experience in advertising and graphic design. He owns Ghost Creative and was behind the redesign of the RECT logo and designs the banners and program books for the theatre. Paul and his wife Deborah also own Black Watch Alpacas and the Little Shoppe on the Farm. In addition, he serves on the local board of the Southern States Farm Cooperative.

Natalie D. King, BOARD MEMBER


Natalie  is Ragged Edge’s newest board member!  She is in her fifteen year of education and worked previously in corporate finance for twelve years. Natalie enjoys spending time with family, friends, hiking, reading, and of course the theatre!  She first came to Ragged in 2021 when her son, Sawyer came to audition for School House Rocks, Jr. and has been volunteering with the theatre ever since.
